Joey Diaz
Director of Operations · Mac Daddy Sales & Service · Tampa Bay, FL
Founder · Foundation Operations LLC

I design and deploy production business systems using AI-assisted development, integrating payments, communications, data, and automation into unified platforms. Every system below is live, handling real transactions, real customers, and real infrastructure — built and operated by a single developer.

"Can one developer replace an engineering team?" — This portfolio is the answer. Five self-hosted production systems, zero SaaS dependencies, all built with AI-augmented workflows.

How I Build Systems
1
Define Business Workflow
2
AI-Accelerated Development
3
Validate Through Real Usage
4
Integrate Into One Platform
5
Deploy & Monitor Production

AI is a core part of my workflow — not a shortcut. I use Claude, GPT-4, and local LLMs to accelerate architecture decisions, generate boilerplate, validate code, and automate reviews. The output is production software that handles real money and real customers.

01 · Anchor Case Study
Mac Daddy Portal
Full Business Operating System · ERP · CRM · Payments

Used in daily operations at Mac Daddy Sales & Service, Land O' Lakes, FL · Handles real transactions and customer data · Self-hosted on dedicated VPS

A complete business management platform that replaced 5-6 separate SaaS products with one self-hosted system. Manages the entire repair lifecycle: customer intake → equipment registration → work orders → inspection → invoicing → payment → warranty claims → follow-up.

Before
Separate tools for CRM, invoicing, scheduling
Manual warranty claim submission
Paper-based equipment tracking
No centralized communications
$500+/mo in combined SaaS costs
After
Single platform — all business data in one place
Kanban warranty pipeline with auto-validation
Digital equipment records with serial tracking
Unified SMS, voice, email, and team chat
$0/mo platform cost — fully self-hosted
Outcome: Invoicing reduced from 20+ minutes to under 2 minutes per job. Warranty claims pipeline directly drives shop revenue — Joey is compensated on percentage of approved claims. 327 customer records, 384 work orders, and 65 warranty claims managed through the platform.

02 · Architecture Evolution
Foundation Portal v3
Next-Gen Monorepo · Widget Workspace · Multi-Tenant

Deployed on self-hosted Docker infrastructure · 18 Supabase containers running in production

Ground-up rebuild of Mac Daddy Portal as a modern Turborepo monorepo with type-safe APIs, drag-and-drop widget workspace, and Supabase-powered auth. Designed as a multi-tenant platform — Mac Daddy is tenant #1.

Outcome: Migrating a 29K-line single-file React app to a type-safe monorepo — without disrupting daily operations. Multi-tenant widget architecture means the next service business deploys with configuration, not new code.

03 · AI Innovation
Iron Sharpened Fitness
Self-Modifying PWA · Autonomous Code Pipeline · Community App

Live at isf2717.com · Handles real users · AI pipeline has shipped code with zero production incidents

A modular faith-based fitness PWA (Proverbs 27:17) with a 1,041-line autonomous code modification engine. The app writes, reviews, and deploys its own code changes through dual-LLM consensus with 11 safety guardrails.

Outcome: Production AI pipeline ships code autonomously with zero incidents. Dual-LLM review (local Ollama + cloud GPT-4o-mini) eliminates first-pass API costs while maintaining independent validation before any code touches production.

04 · DevOps Infrastructure
FOMCP Server
MCP Control Plane · Chat-to-Deploy · AI DevOps

Live at mcp.foundationoperations.com · 100% success rate across all production calls · Deployed on self-hosted infrastructure

A custom Model Context Protocol server that gives an LLM direct read/write/execute access to deploy code, query databases, manage DNS, and monitor uptime — turning AI into an autonomous DevOps engineer with human-in-the-loop approval.

Outcome: Replaced 100% of manual SSH server management. A deployment that previously required 5 terminal commands now takes one sentence. 66 production calls, zero errors — database queries, code deployments, DNS changes, and service restarts all from a chat window.
